At Harvestwood, we strive to maintain both an inward and outward ministry.
By inward ministry, we mean that we minister through the Word of God to the families within the congregation, striving to use the gifts that we have been given to build each other up in Christ, striving to equip the congregation to grow and mature in their faith in order to gain a better understanding of the Word of God and our identity in Christ, and how to apply it to our every day life.
By outward ministry, we mean that we also minister through the Word of God to the community around us. We believe that God still has many people in Floyd County (just as He has in the world) that belong to Him. We equip our members for their inward ministry through the following:
- God-centered Worship
- Sound Biblical teaching
- True Christian Fellowship
- Loving shepherding
We equip our members for their outward ministry through the following:
- Proclaiming God’s word as the only answer for the problems of our day
- Equipping our members to reach the lost in our community through evangelism
- Encouraging our members to become involved in our community
- Encouraging our members to make a difference through lifestyle evangelism
